Supposedly just after the holidays is the slow time of year - but instead I have receive a bunch of orders, wholesale and retail, which is so great!!!
Last weekend husband and I took a little road trip to glass nirvana, Whittemore-Durgin about 90 minutes away in Rockland, MA. I'll admit, it was a tedious experience. The store has a great selection of glass at the cheapest prices I have found, BUT they are not so great at the whole ringing up thing - so that takes some patience :)
Here is a pic of one of the 6 shelves of glass, about 6' tall, and also my glass booty!
The Karen London mini pyramids went out in the mail yesterday. They will be using them in their stores. They were very easy to work with - I hope I can make something for them in the future!
Last week I stopped by niche.Urban Garden Supply on Tremont Street in Boston, who has been carrying my glass 3D forms for about a year. I hadnt yet been there yet and LOVED all the fun plants and containers for sale there! Husband was sweet enough to buy me a glass planter they had for sale - it has a cool knotted rope that it hangs by - it looks very happy in my kitchen window!
In the next week or so I will be making some new terrariums for niche and we discussed her hosting a terrarium class using my dodecahedron! Yayy!
A new customer placed an order yesterday - the lovely Lisa from Wildwood DIY Boutique in Lake Tahoe, CA. Her shop is adorable and I love that workshops are a big part of what she offers!
If you are in the area, stop by her shop (but wait a few weeks until I have sent her my glass)!
